Location and Directions


Whatever the reason for your visit to Edinburgh we’re sure you want to spend more time doing it and less time getting to it. Euro Hostel Edinburgh Halls is located right in the centre of the city.

Here’s how to easily find your accommodation: If you’re walking we’re approximately 10-minutes from Waverley Station. There’s two ways to us, the short but hilly or the longer but easier way. It’s your choice.

The short, but steep way with stairs (not good with luggage): Take the Market Street exit from Waverley Station, cross the street and walk up Fleshmarket Close, turn left at Cockburn Street to the Royal Mile. Cross over the Royal Mile and walk through Hunter Square and down Blair Street towards Cowgate. Turn right at Cowgate and walk for about 100metres. We are located on the corner of Guthrie Street.

The longer way but easier with luggage: Exit Waverley Train Station from the Market Street exit. Turn to your left and veer right up Jeffrey Street. Carry on along Jeffrey Street until you reach the High Street (also known as the Royal Mile). Cross over the High Street and straight ahead onto St Mary's Street. Walk down until you reach the road known as Cowgate. Turn right along the Cowgate for about 300metres. Kincaids Court is located on the left hand side on the corner of Guthrie St.
