The Pleasance Theatre

The Pleasance is a large venue with 20 theatre spaces, but it is easy to find your way around. This grand old building has been an integral part of the Edinburgh scene for many many years. During Festival there is over 170 shows on each day! Outside Festival time it is an Edinburgh University building.

Getting There

Leave the hostel and turn left at Guthrie and an immediate right at Cowgate. Follow Cogate until you get to the St Mary's Street/Pleasance intersection. Turn right and head up the hill for about 200 metres. You're there!
