What does my rate include?

All rates include bed with linen, VAT, 24hr reception assistance and access, FREE wifi in all areas. The Hatch Bar is open all day and into the early hours of the morning.

Is breakfast available?

Yes. You can have 5 items for £4.50.  Fill your boots from a selection of hot and cold items. Served between 8am and 11am each day. We can open earlier with advanced notice and with minimum numbers.

What sort of rooms do you have?

We have rooms for 1 person all the way up to 8 people and our Bunkalow suite can accommodate 6 guests. Any size of party can be accommodated. All can be reserved for private use or a bed can be booked in the 4, 8 or 10 person dorms. All rooms and dormitories are en-suite. Rooms consist of bunk beds with the exception of our double rooms which have a double bed.

There are also four adapted rooms suitable for guests in a wheelchair, the doors are widened, light switches/sockets lowered and the bathroom is fully adapted with a panic alarm. All public areas are also wheelchair friendly. Please note these rooms do have bunk beds that are not adapted.

We sure do. In fact, you are NOT permitted to use your own linen or sleeping bags. Towels are available for £1 each from reception.

What time is check in and out?

Check-in time is from 3pm but for £3.00 per person you can check-in from 11.30am. Check-out time is by11am but for £5.00 per hour you can check-out up to 2.00pm, subject to availability.

Is there car parking?

Yes. It’s not included in the room cost but we’ve negotiated a discounted rate with the local NCP so you’ll pay less than half what you’d normally pay for a 24 hour period.

Our agreement with the NCP on Vernon Street L2 2AY, means our guests can buy a voucher from our reception for just £1 and receive 24hr parking for only £7.50. Please ask our reception team for a validation ticket before you depart as unfortunately the discount cannot be applied at the car park pay station without it.

I’m arriving late, will reception be open?

Of course… we’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Is there a curfew?

No. You have your own key to your room.

Can I smoke in my room?

Absolutely not! Here at Euro Hostel Liverpool we don’t smoke. Our hostel is completely smoke free, even in a private room. We will charge you £200 should this be ignored. We insist on preserving our smoke free environment.

Are the rooms noisy?

Please remember, we are absolute city centre and with that comes some noise from the street and nearby bars and clubs especially at weekends.

Do I have to pay anything when I book?

Yes. At the time of booking you will be charged a 12% non-refundable deposit. If you are booking for a group (6 or more people) you will notice a special section within the Terms and Conditions that you will be asked to agree to.

If I cancel / reduce my booking, do I lose my 12% deposit?

Sure do. To maintain our low rates, we have to recover costs on any lost administrative time and possible loss of income due to rooms not being sold when they were once booked out.

What happens if I do not turn up?

You will be charged for the first nights booked accommodation. If you know you cannot make it let us know by 3pm 72 hours prior to arrival and we will cancel the booking with no payment of the balance required. You still lose the deposit though.

What age do I have to be to stay at the hostel?

We welcome all ages but any under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there WI-FI or internet available in the hostel?

Wi-Fi is available free throughout the entire hostel including our bedrooms.

Is there a bar in the hostel? Can I take my kids in?

The Hatch Bar & Venue is located within the hostel, open daily from 7.30am for breakfast. Kids are welcome in the bar with a parent or guardian up to 9pm if resident in the hostel. We close at midnight every day to non-residents however residents can take advantage of our 24 hour license and the bar will remain open if there is demand. Once the bar closes drinks can be purchased at reception for residents only. Euro Hostels promotes responsible drinking.
