EH! Recommendation – Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers have announced details of more dates celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their fourth album ‘Everything Must Go’. The band had already revealed details of a very special show at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium and the May 2016 dates will follow the same format with the group playing two sets on the night, the album in full followed by rarities and curios, greatest hits and a few brand new songs.

After the incredible response to their twelfth studio album ‘Futurology’ in 2014, which came less than a year after the previous album ‘Rewind The Film, the band completed an outstandingly creative period with dates playing their third album ‘The Holy Bible’ for its 20th Anniversary. The success and outstanding critical and public acclaim for the gigs prompted the band to go out again with ‘Everything Must Go’.

Thursday 21 April @Echo Arena – Little Mix

Wednesday 27 April @Arts Club – The Bluetones

Friday 03 May @O2 Academy – Foxes

Saturday 07 May @Arts Club – The Spitfires

Friday 20 May @Prenton Park – Will Young

Friday 27 – Sunday 29 May @Bramley Moore Dock – The Coral

EH! Recommendation – Little Mix

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall became Little Mix in 2011. To date they have sold over seven million records, had two UK No.1 singles and two platinum albums ‘DNA’ and ‘Salute’.

As well as a successful arena tour, they have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women of the Year Award. With over half a billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide, they’ve also successfully become one of Britain’s greatest exports with massive tours in the US, Australia and Japan – breaking the Spice Girls’ long-held record of highest debut US chart position for a UK girl group in the process.

Not a gig to miss.

Newcastle Upon Tyne

Monday 18 April @O2 Academy – The Fall

Tuesday 26 April @Riverside – We Are Scientists

Saturday 23 April @NorThursdaymbria University Students Union – Super Furry Animals

Monday 16 May @Riverside – Pete Docherty

Tuesday 17 May @City Hall – James

Monday 30 May @City Hall – The Last Shadow Puppets

EH! Recommendation – The Last Shadow Puppets

The Last Shadow Puppets is the side project of Miles Kane from The Rascals and the Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner, making the most of their undeniable talents. With their debut album, The Age of the Understatement, going straight to number one in the UK album charts, Kane and Turner have managed to beat off the critics to produce some of the most profound and intelligent indie-pop of the last ten years.

Don’t forget Euro Hostel is the perfect location to stay when attending any of the above gigs with our hostels all located conveniently in the city centres.

We guarantee the cheapest accommodation in the city centre whether you’re coming to see the band on your own (which is a little sad) or as part of a group.
